Good morning my dear GFPs, and happy Monday to you. I’m writing this on a cold, wet day up in North Yorkshire, feeling very uninspired despite the TWO sad lamps I have running at full glare on me. They are so bright my husband refuses to be in the room with me when they’re on, and yet I need MORE.

Earlier this week, on a day when I was feeling less sun-deprived, I had a small and slightly more jolly ponder about a nerdy great love of mine: words. I know, a writer loves words, hold the presses. Next week’s breaking news: Poppy loves balls.
