The Spanish judge is an absolute legend 🤩, and this must be the case for so many insurance/ injury claims in other domains too, work related, medication related. Let's hope that other members of the judiciary take this gender data gap on board and start to follow a similar path. As you say, companies will only look to rectify this once it starts to hurt them financially!! Fab newsletter, thank you 😁

The « women are sooo hormonal » always make me want to scream.

Women’s hormones would disrupt the test = we think the results on women would be different = we should only test on men and apply the results to women.

HOW is this a sound scientific reasoning ? If you think the results will be different, of course you should study women ! If you think the results will be the same, hormones are not a problem and thus you have no reason to exclude women !

Ikr. Women are too different to men to include in a study but also we’ll just apply research on men to women and it’s fine!
